Arthur Igeria is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with over 31 years of practice. He is currently the Senior Partner at the law firm of Igeria & Ngugi Advocates situated in Nairobi, Kenya. Throughout his illustrious career, Arthur has demonstrated exceptional expertise in dispute resolution (litigation, arbitration and mediation), conveyancing, and commercial law.
Arthur has demonstrated exemplary leadership and legal acumen throughout his years of practice, resulting in his appointment as the first Chairman of the Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration. He is also a director at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Kenya) Branch. These prestigious roles underscore his commitment to promoting alternative dispute resolution mechanisms in Kenya and beyond. He is also a Chartered Arbitrator and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and is well-versed with the complexities of arbitration and mediation, which has enabled him to consistently deliver fair and equitable outcomes for his clients.
Arthur is also a qualified certified public secretary and member of the Institute of Certified Secretaries of Kenya (ICS). He is also a governance auditor accredited by the ICS. He serves on the board of directors of the Centre for Corporate Governance (CCG) and is also a trainer in corporate governance.

Notable Assignments
- Advising buyer and financier on the buy-out of shares from owners of a company whose principle asset was a shopping mall. Assisted in the registration and perfection of the security documentation which included share transfers, lien, debenture and charge over the free property.
- Handled numerous arbitration matters both as a Court appointed Arbiter and for Corporate Arbitration for Commercial parties. His service in Arbitration is highly acclaimed leading to his appointment by the President of Kenya to be the chairs the Nairobi Center for International Arbitration.
- Handled the set up of Family Trusts, Succession arbitration and Will & Testament documents, for various private parties.
- Company Secretary for numerous companies, both publicly listed and private entities.
